Process Vision helps Sweden switch

Process Vision’s GENERIS™ system is playing a major role in Sweden’s switchover to smart metering, the company reported recently. Process Vision’s largest system there manages smart metering measurement validation, warehousing, and B2B communication for nearly one million Swedish residential customers. Overall, the company accounts for a quarter of the Swedish smart metering market.

The major effort needed to install new remotely read meters has proceeded well thanks to GENERIS™ Meter Asset Management (MAM), which offers a highly efficient solution for managing metering device characteristics and the numerous issues associated with mass metering device migration.

The Swedish project has firmly established GENERIS™ as production-ready for large smart metering deployments, believes Process Vision.

The GENERIS™ family of products includes modules for multi-utility, smart meter data management (MDM), meter asset management (MAM), balance settlement and management (EDM), trades and risk management (TMS), the management of contracts and portfolios (CMS), and other applications. GENERIS™ is used in over 300 installations in the Nordic countries and Central Europe, and has been awarded the EDNA quality certificate.
