You generate the waste, our systems process it

Ecomation’s processing lines are among the most efficient and cost-effective anywhere for processing electrical and electronic scrap, as well as scrap tyres and other rubber and plastic waste. Its technology is also very environmentally friendly.

The advanced nature of Ecomation’s processing lines, which are capable of handling from 250 kg/h to more than 5 t/h, means that they are capable of generating excellent revenue flows from a wide range of material, including electrical and electronic (WEEE) scrap that conventional systems cannot deal with. Dedicated solutions can be supplied for batteries, for example.

Ecomation also offers waste-to-energy solutions for dealing with products such as scrap tyres. Its state-of-the-art, sustainable thermocatalytic process can run continuously 24/7, producing fuel oil, carbon black, and other saleable products.

Ecomation manufactures and supplies complete recycling lines. It can also upgrade existing facilities to bring them close to the industryleading standards of its own systems.

Dry, clean, and full automated

The Ecomation separation process is dry, clean, and fully automated, and designed to keep dust and odour under control at every stage. The fact that no effluent is generated makes the process ideal for WEEE scrap.

A typical delivery features between three and five energy-optimised reduction stages, each followed by a separation cycle – all in a very compact footprint.

In-house manufacturing, combined with a comprehensive partner network, means that Ecomation’s customers can be assured of the best possible solution for their needs, including specialised requirements in areas such as crushing computer hard disks and PCBs.

When modernising existing equipment, Ecomation can fit a system to monitor the condition of blades, bearings, and transmission components to ensure optimised operation at all times and improve overall performance.

Solutions that grow with your needs

Ecomation’s patented ESSE separator consists of a multi-zone vibrating table, with ionization and blower stages. ESSE solutions also usually include a drum screen and a feeding conveyor.

Units separate metals from organic materials such as plastics, light alloys such as aluminium from metals like copper, and glass and ceramic materials from metal-rich scrap streams. The latest high-performance permanent magnets are used to remove ferrous materials.

A line’s output can be further processed via smelting to ensure that gold and other precious metals are recovered and that the overall costeffectiveness and environmental benefit of the process is as high as possible.

For maximum flexibility, Ecomation offers a container-based solution for processing WEEE scrap. Supplied in two or three sea containers, each of which can handle up to 1 tonne of throughput an hour, an EMC unit can be easily moved from site to site, and is ready to run immediately. In areas without a grid power supply, it can be run off a generator, making it a truly go-anywhere solution.
